ONS in Stavanger has been one of the world’s leading oil and energy industry meeting places.
1. The Space and Energy Park
During this year’s ONS there will be a 90 m
Space & Energy park in Hall M. This will be the place for innovative companies to present themselves in a new and exiting context. The Think Outside The Planet exhibition will be designed to inform and inspire the 40 000 + visitors to see the parallels between Space and Energy challenges and technologies.

2. The Space and Energy conference
The conference will be held during the ONS week on Wednesday 25.08 and will have a special focus on technology transfer between Space & Energy.
Norwegian Space Centre is leading the program committee for this happening. Keywords for the conference are:
• Good examples on technology transfer between space and energy.
• How can the energy- and space sector learn from each other?
• Space applications for the energy industry.
• Common technology challenges

3. The Think Outside The Planet magazine
The Think Outside The Planet magazine will be the medium for presenting our sponsoring partners in a Space & Energy context together with examples on tech transfer. In the magazine you will also find cases on how to do tech transfer together with other material for information and education. It will be edited by Eirik Newth and will be available under and after ONS 2010.
